We're a publix family and I'm sad to say that our publix (closest to our house) is just not up to par. And never have been for the past 6 years. The guys in the meat department always have an attitude. The guys in the deli making sandwicheses, always have an attitude like we're always inconveniencing them. I take the extra two miles and drive to Hodges because the service is just better there.

People are great stores clean

I have been shopping here and using their pharmacy for a decade. It is a few miles out of my way to shop in this store, but it is worth every mile, traffic light, congestion and tight parking. The staff knows me by my name and go out of their way to speak with me every single time that I am in the store.The pharmacy staff is a genuine reflection on the values and principles that Publix stands for and go out of their way to take care of me as a patient/customer.I would not even consider going elsewhere.

I went this morning and I usually dont review a Publix bc they're usually pretty good all around but the customer service today was incredible. I dealt with quite a few departments as i had many items to get. From the cart greeter, guy unloading the flowers, to someone sweeping the floor asking me if I needed help (i looked lost), right down to the cashier and bag boy ending it with some hilarious banter. Whole 20 min experience made for a great start to the day. Thx for making it a pleasure as usual ✌

Nice place to go!

Stephen with the glasses made the best subs. He was so funny and made the wait for chicken tender subs on a sale day much more pleasant.

Clean and great service

Very clean store. The employees were all very nice and helpful. I have never been to a Publix before but I would highly recommend a Pub-sub (Publix sub sandwich) the bread it was made on was delicious! :-)

The staff at this Publix are always extremely helpful and pleasant. Prefer publix to any other grocery store in Florida.

Good food at deli and goos service at pharmacy

The bathroom was really bad when I stopped in. Usually publix is a great place to stop when you have to use the restroom as far as cleanliness goes but this location is the exception. There was urine on the floor and toilet seat in both stalls. It was very clear that it hadn't been cleaned properly based on how dirty the walls and floor appeared to be.

Best Carrot cake in Jacksonville Florida!! Service is second to none!! Publix is ALWAYS clean and welcoming!!!

Dominika is the sweetest woman ever. I admire her efforts and her great customer service, however.. her sandwich making skills are not the best. Terrible. I suggest she be moved to another department maybe because again, she’s very sweet and provides excellent customer service

First time stopping here. Deli worker was very nice, store very busy, 2 vendors blocking walk ways, and cashier in 10 or less was doing one at least 30. Not the greatest by far, however not the worst. Will update if I am in this side of town again and it is different.

Always quick to get in and out on my way home

This is why I love Publix. The people are nice. The store is clean. There's an array of products. If they don't have what you need, they will help you find an alternative, or a rain check.

Was there other day guess i picked wrong day or time lady in deli and bakery had bad attitude. And customer service was bad i wont be stop by that publix anymore

Ordered a sub with oil and vinaigrette PACKETS on the side from Instacart. Arrived only minutes after being contacted that my order was ready, I live right across the street. The sub had 2 topping added that were not even on the ticket. Further, Instead of oil and vintages packets, it was put directly onto the sub. The sub looked like they dipped it in a tub of oil and wrapped it up. SHOCKING amount of oil. Tried to pick the sub up, my fingers sunk through the bread, then the bread failed like a limp noodle causing everything everything to slide off. My pregnant wife and I dried the meat and cheese off with a towel and put it onto hotdog buns. You’ve been warned

Just got a roast beef sub. Josh In the deli did an outstanding job and had great customer service.

I usually love publix, but I had a terrible experience with one of the managers. Jane was her name. She was not only rude, acted like I was unwanted and she didn’t smile once. I’ve heard from other friends that shop there that they have never seen her smile or greet anyone happily either. Unfortunately I had to be the one that had to interact with her. Hope this gets better.

I have gone to Kernan Publix 3 times in the last 3 weeks. I can't get over how friendly and nice all the employees are. I know they must be exhausted at this point. But it doesn't show. Thank you for all you do!

Great i love this store

The STORE managers are terrible..All just stand around and talk among themselves, had many problems at the soup bar...what was on the daily menu is never on the menu how does this happen..Oh

MNGR here needs a promotion. they are always on point and the staff is very well trained; especially those working in the sandwhich and lunch area - never a long line and they move fast. go publix (PS i work here)

Everytime I go into this publix I’m always stunned by the wonderful customer service .. I’ve been coming to this publix since 2012 and everyone there has always made me feel welcome

I've gone here probably every other day for over 2 years, and I've never had an unpleasant experience. They have a polite staff, it's very clean and it's just overall always a quick and easy trip to get groceries. The subs are good, the quality of meats in the back is great, and even the baked goods are on point. Great job guys!

Very clean environment and wonderful members. The two ladies at the sub station (Darica and Kelly) were very patient and well mannered. Because of them, my experience was phenomenal. Will always come back.

Definitely used to be a Winn Dixie or something similar. Needs a major remodel. Looks like they are just remodeling the "look" right now. The layout is way different from the standard Publix stores.

Tried to purchase oxtails for dinner last night , asked this one guy in the meat department if he could cut them smaller, he blatantly said no . Like are u serious . He said he cannot because he is busy at the moment . Worst publix store... I've been shopping at publix for 7 years and they always assist with cutting oxtails smaller and any other meat of any kind ... This is obsurd and rude. Will never shop at Kernan Publix again .
